Plan Insurance Brokers are delighted to once again be attending The Taxi Driver of the Year Charity Fund’s (TDOY) annual dinner and dance.

Spanning back over three decades. the annual Taxi Driver of the Year dinner and dance is one well celebrated by black cab drivers and the industry community alike.
This year’s event will be taking place on Saturday 24th November 2018 at the Holiday Inn Regents Park and promises to be a great night consisting of a live band, great food and even better company!
The hugely popular Plan goodie bag will once again be in circulation for this year’s event.
The Taxi Driver of the Year Charity is a fantastic organisation will the sole purpose of raising money each year to donate across 5 chosen charities at their annual dinner dance.
This year’s charities in which donations will be raised for are:

• Albany Taxi Charity Fund for Children with special needs
• East London Cabbies Outing
• Southend Fund for Underprivileged Children
• Taxi Charity for Military Veterans
• The London Taxi drivers’ Fund for Underprivileged Children

The TDYCF is run by Chairman Russell Poluck MBE with the help of his wife and the charity’s Secretary Barbara – as well as Vice Chairman Micky Harris.
Initiatives such as the annual charity golf, treasure hunts across London, general knowledge tests, tyre changing challenges and more have helped the charity over the course of 45 years distribute in excess of £5,000,000 to Charities, Hospitals, Private Care Homes and more.
