Celebrating the achievements of the business community, the Croydon Business Excellence Awards is a major business event in the borough. Croydon was named as the area with the fastest growing in 2016, with an annual growth rate of 9.3 per cent in gross value added (GVA), according to accountancy group UHY Hacker Young.

In this context, we were very pleased to have been commended in the The “Best Business for Staff Training & Development” category.

This category rewards the business that can best demonstrate how its ‘training and development’ ethos and practices have positively contributed to the business.

At Plan Insurance Brokers, we pride ourselves on outstanding customer service. This can only be achieved with highly skilled and trained staff. As a family business, we may have grown to now count nearly 80 members of staff, but we still manage our company very much like a family. Each member is highly valued and we endeavour to offer opportunities internally and to develop each individual’s talents. We also ensure that all our members of staff attend training that is relevant to their role and keep on top of the latest industry trends, innovations and regulatory updates.
