We are incredibly proud and delighted to have won Best SME Insurance Employer, at the recent British Insurance Awards. This accolade highlights the tremendous work by all involved over the last year, especially throughout the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The prestigious award recognises businesses that go the extra mile to support their staff in all aspects of their work. Leading insurance industry publication, Insurance Post invited the industry to nominate and rate their employers on a variety of aspects including management, pay and benefits, diversity, work/life balance and whether they would recommend their employer to a friend.
Overall, Plan’s staff rated the company an incredible 9.5 out of 10. Managing Director, Grant Georgiades, described the feedback, “As a very humbling endorsement of the environment we have developed over the years.”
We were recognised for our investment in training and development as well as our employee relations strategy, by putting employees first, fostering an environment where people enjoy coming to work and providing an extremely attractive workspace for those coming into the office.
Georgiades collected the trophy from comedian Rob Beckett at a ceremony hosted in the Battersea Evolution Centre. Commenting on the award he said:
“We work in an incredibly competitive industry, yet we are managing to stand out from the crowd. That can only come from a shared desire to deliver excellence. I’m proud to work with such a brilliant team, and thank our employees for nominating us. This award evidences that we’re fulfilling our mantra of, ‘take care of your staff and your staff will take care of your clients’.”
Victory follows success at other industry events. The Plan Group have also received awards in the last 12 months for having the “Best Insurance Claims Team” and “Best Training & Development” programs. Georgiades continues,
“Awards from the industry are great for morale but ultimately the work we do is all aimed at delivering for our clients. Achieving Feefo’s highest independent customer service rating for the last four consecutive years is probably the most important recognition and endorsement.”
